In the forest land of Khori Gaon, Haryana, around ten thousand houses were about to be demolished. Recently, the bench of the Hon’ble Supreme of India adjourned the hearing for two weeks till the supreme court ordered the removal of unauthorized constructions on forest land of Khori Gaon.
Now, The Government is considering whether the lands fall within the forest land of Khori Gaon or not!
The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has asked the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation where the locals should be provided with food, shelter, and accommodation to fulfill the grievance of the locals and make them available with all the essentials as per the Court’s orders.
On 23rd July, The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India granted four more weeks to the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad to complete the removal in the forest land of Khori Gaon, Haryana
After providing the reports of compliance under the signature of the Chief Secretary and other Secretary, the Hon’ble Supreme Court had further directed police protection to the Corporation Officials.
This decision by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India is for the benefit of the corporation officials and the locals.
