On Monday morning, several AORS (Advocates-On Records) practicing in the Supreme Court received a phone call from an unknown number and the caller warned that the flag of Kashmir would be hoisted in Delhi on this Republic Day.
The caller called himself a Mujahidin and said that the Supreme Court was also involved in the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, it also accused the Modi government.
However, this is not the first time that AORS has received such calls. Earlier this month too. AOR had received several calls from anonymous numbers from UK and Canada and callers said they were responsible for PM Modi’s insecurities in Punjab.
The caller of AORS claimed himself to be related to Sikh for Justice and warned the top court to consider the PIL filed by NGO Lawyers Voice, seeking a probe into the security lapses of PM Modi. One of the reasons why AORS is receiving such calls could be that their number is available in the public domain.
