Thursday: Ukraine pled for India’s support in its fight with Russia. He emotionally appealed to the Prime Minister to talk to Vladimir Putin over the war. He asked India to assume a complete global role in the time of crisis of the country.
“I don’t know how many world leaders Putin may listen to but the status of Modi Ji makes me hopeful. In the case of his strong voice, Putin at least should think over it. We are expecting for much more favorable attitude of the Indian government,” he said.
India called for a complete de-escalation between Russia and Ukraine at the United Nations Security Council meeting.
According to the reports, India has a special relationship with Russia and hence, it can help in managing the ongoing crisis. He also referred to the Mahabharata, saying even before the war, there were active attempts to solve the conflict.
